Man, I love this pic.  First time visiting Denver in 95, and by train from Chicago to Denver.  I believe it was the end of September and they got heavy snow the evening we arrived.  Half the city and some suburbs were in a blackout as the snow downed power lines.  Luckily we did not lose power in our hotel in the heart of downtown.  Really liked the city and hope to go back someday.  

On this particular trip to San Francisco, I was lucky and my friend who I was visiting was able to get us a special tour of the Conservatory at Golden Gate Park. Beautiful inside and out and the grounds were immaculate.  So glad I got that opportunity to get such an intimate tour.  

This was my second trip to the Bay area and one of my favorite pics I ever took there. Of course this was taken at dusk. It was calm and serene and I was so relaxed just sitting there taking in the whole view. 

Been to the Bay area 6 times and never been to Big Sur, that’s on my list for the next visit. 

Have not been to the UP in years.  It’s beautiful up there and I’ve been wanting to go for a long time. Hope to go in 2012.
